Mission and Vision
The Voss Middle School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to establish and strengthen a strong partnership between parents and teachers in order to promote a safe, loving middle school environment while improving and enriching the Voss Middle School experience for every current and future student. We will assist in delivering the highest quality of education possible with a steadfast focus on the students' best interests both educationally and socially. We will also provide transparent communication to parents and teachers and create a place where volunteers are valued, respected and greatly appreciated.
WHAT DOES VOSS PTO DO?
> Establishes and maintains a working relationship among parents, school and community.
> Supports school improvement teams and promotes the finest education possible for the students at Voss Middle School.
> Expands technology and supplements equipment and supplies.
> Develops programs and projects that will support or enrich the curriculum.
> Enhances the quality of education by raising funds for school supplies or programs that fall outside the school budget.
> Recruits volunteers and coordinates volunteer efforts to staff PTO functions and assist with school programs
A strong PTO will play a crucial role in providing resources and opportunities for our educators and students. There will be many needs not covered by the bond money allocated to Voss Middle School, as well as the need to make up for funds lost through the Robin Hood initiative. By becoming a member of PTO, you are making a direct impact in the education of our children!
As a Voss PTO member, you will have access to volunteer and student engagement opportunities, and you will receive email communication that is distributed to the PTO membership database regarding updates & involvement in PTO-funded initiatives .

HOW DO I JOIN?
Joining the PTO is easy. Go to our website, choose your membership option, and check out using Paypal (you do not have to have a Paypal account). Once your payment is processed, you will be taken to a form to fill out to complete your membership application. That's it!
DO I HAVE TO VOLUNTEER IF I JOIN?
No! We understand many parents have busy and hectic schedules. We will not contact you unless you indicate you are interested in volunteering, and you volunteer only when you can (guilt-free)!
