Mission and Vision
For over 60 years, Starlite Recovery Center has been providing adult clients near San Antonio & Austin, Texas with caring and highly effective drug rehab for substance abuse, alcohol addiction, and co-occurring issues.
Our program philosophy at Starlite Recovery Center is based on the understanding that the disease of addiction affects the entire person: encompassing the body, mind, and spirit. Because of this, treatment must address each of these areas to be successful in the recovery of the whole person.
We further believe that the disease of addiction touches more than just the individual who is abusing substances. We recognize that the lives of those around the alcoholic or addict are affected in many negative ways. Family, friends, loved ones, and employers need education, guidance, and support if treatment is to be successful.
Starlite’s clinical staff will keep the family involved in the treatment process and decisions.
Starlite Recovery Center offers help for everyone whose lives are impacted by addiction and alcoholism. Primary treatment is merely the initial step in the overall recovery process. Our goal of promoting an abstinent lifestyle, one that is lasting and productive, is predicated upon intervention and education which demonstrate to the addicted individual the path of success and how others achieved it.

SERVICES OFFERED: The treatment process includes the following services for adults and adolescents:
Intervention Education, Comprehensive Assessment, Medical Evaluation and Detoxification, 24-Hour Nursing Care, Psychosocial Evaluation, Daily Group counseling, Individual Counseling, Family Programs, Recreational Activities, Continuing Care and Alumni Services. Starlite utilizes 12 Steps, SMART Recovery, Refuge Recovery, DBT, CBT, EMDR, trauma informed therapy modalities.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Starlite Recovery Center is committed to the treatment of chemical dependency primary with a secondary focus on mental health.
Starlite has both an adults (male and female) and female adolescent (ages 13 - 17) programs, Chemical Dependency and Alcohol detox and rehabilitation programs.
Special Programs include:
Journey Program- a Christian approach to recovery
Freedom Program- specialized treatment for the LBGTQIA Community
Military Program- specialized groups for active duty and veterans of the armed forces.
Intensive Out Patient- specialized programs that meet three days a week on an outpatient basis.
