Mission and Vision

The mission of the Jewish Federation of San Antonio is to strengthen Jewish communities here, everywhere, always.
Founded in 1927, Federation is dedicated to building a strong Jewish community in San Antonio and worldwide through its Annual Campaign, and by providing meaningful opportunities for Jewish individuals and families. Federation is composed of people who strive to perfect an imperfect world. Federation is where passion and commitment, along with tzedakah and a sense of social justice, join together to make a difference in someone’s life.

San Antonio, the second largest city in Texas, boasts a thriving community with a variety of beautiful parks, restaurants and historic locations. Its lively and colorful downtown includes the Alamo Mission, Market Square (El Mercado), La Villita and the world-famous Riverwalk. San Antonio, known as "The Alamo City" also hosts a vibrant arts and culture scene and actively welcomes many cultural backgrounds into its fold with good ol’ Texas hospitality!
