Mission and Vision
A non-profit rescue that specializes in the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of animals in need.
We assist in the rehabilitation, retraining and rehoming of animals that are brought into our program. Our team is comprised of highly dedicated “animal people” that have a deep passion for the welfare of animals.
All of us with interest in Hay Dude Critter Rescue from the founder, Jessica Minarcin, to the Board of Directors, volunteers and our donors - all of us share a deep passion and compassion for animals in need.
Description
Hay Dude Critter Rescue is a 501c3 non profit that focuses on the rescue, rehab and rehoming of equines, dogs, and cats in need. The rescue is located in the Texas Hill Country, just a few miles outside of San Antonio. We assist in the rehabilitation, retraining and rehoming of animals that are brought into our program.
Hay Dude Equine Rescue focuses on the rescue, rehab and rehoming of horses that have found themselves in less than ideal situations. We are going to keep our efforts small to ensure that our equine saves will receive the proper time, care and attention that their path to recovery requires.
I am very excited about this next chapter in my rescue efforts. There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes to get these animals to the rescue. I would not be able to do this without the best transporters, trainers, vet care, networkers, and support of family and friends. It is truly an understatement when I say it takes a village with these animals. We really couldn't do it without such an amazing team behind us.
