BMSS PTO strives to enrich the educational environment at Boerne Middle School South by centering on a cooperative partnership of parents, teachers, administration and the community to enhance communication, augment classroom materials and boost social activities. BMSS PTO seeks to promote the education and well-being of students and to foster an atmosphere of cooperation between parents, teachers and the community. To achieve this goal we provide volunteer efforts and financial support to programs that benefit students, teachers and the school as a whole.

Boerne ISD is a fast-growing school district and so is BMSS! Increased demands on students and teachers, combined with a tight district budget, make our volunteers and our members' donations more crucial than ever.

VOLUNTEER (Parents Get Involved) – Sign up to help when needed!
List of Current Committees:
— Fun Food Days: Organize our Cane's Days & Chick-fil-A Days; roughly 3x per year.
— Library: Check in/out, re-shelf, and help Mrs. Fitz around the BMSS library.
— Spirit Wear: Package/deliver spirit wear orders, sell spirit wear at sporting events and prep day.
— Staff Appreciation: Help with food donations, serving lunches, decorating, and similar activities.
— Teacher Spotlight: Coordinate gifts honoring monthly winning teachers, based on student votes.
— Welcome: Plan cookie social at semester start; assemble info folders for new families.
— Workroom: Help with copies/laminating;
– Blessings in a Backpack - Package food bags for students in need (outside of school group)
