Mission and Vision
The Boerne Concert Band is a non-profit organization providing a venue for local musicians to present popular music in concert for family oriented audiences to enjoy.
– To provide a service to the community through music.
– As an educational goal, to reach local schools, to inspire students of music and encourage them to join the band in concert, to gain expertise during the learning process.
– To develop a close camaraderie within the band that promotes the enjoyment of performing together at their highest level possible.
Description
December - Christmas Concert - December 19
~Concerts held at Boerne High School Auditorium, 1 Greyhound Lane.
Our Goals:

– To develop a close camaraderie within the band that promotes the enjoyment of performing together at their highest level possible.
About our Director, Larry Schmidt:
Larry currently conducts two community bands - The Boerne Village Band (longest continuously performing German Band in the world outside of Germany) and the Boerne Concert Band which he started when he retired from public school.
