Our Shelter Is Currently Operating By Appointment Only!
In order to protect both the public and staff and to support safe social distancing, our shelter is currently operating by appointment only. To adopt a pet, or any other services available you may call 830-249-2456 to make an appointment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Providing a safe humane shelter for unwanted, stray, abused, and impounded animals in accordance with state and city regulations in a cost-efficient and effective manner
• Balancing the health, public safety, and welfare needs of people and animals
• Enforcing animal related laws responsibly
• Educating the public about responsible companion animal ownership
• Investigating cases where animal care is questionable
• Finding new loving homes for homeless animals at our shelter

Hours are available by appointment only:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Saturdays: 10:00AM – 3:00PM
Wednesday, Sunday: Closed
