HOURS: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00 PM

SERVICES OFFERED: Family-Based Safety Services (FBSS) services include
Family counseling Crisis Intervention Parenting Classes
Day Care Housekeeping Skills Budgeting Skills
Substance Abuse Treatment Domestic violence intervention Therapy
Anger Management Nutrition and Health Information Responsible Fathering

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Provides services and works with families to maintain children in their own
homes. Try to help correct problems and avoid having to remove the children to foster
homes, utilize other agencies in town, and work closely with schools. Our cases come
from referrals of child abuse or neglect called into the Statewide Child Abuse Hot Line
(800/252-5400). After the investigation is completed, the case may be opened for Family
Based Safety Services. We attempt to work with the family unit in order to bring about
constructive changes which will enable the children to remain in their own home.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR CLIENT: Referrals are made to this department and then investigated.

COST TO CLIENT: Our agency pays for services as offered to clients. We also refer clients to other agencies for services as appropriate
