Mission and Vision

The Brandon James Myhre Foundation, Inc. will bring awareness to the youth and young adults of today. Too often the younger generation is so connected to their technology they don't tell their friends how important they are or that they care about them. Our vision is to start teaching them the importance of conversation and personal interaction; how to unplug and start communicating with each other on a more personal level in hopes to identify when someone is troubled and weary. Please join us on our crusade to bring back the front porch conversation among the youth of today!

Who We Are
Our founders know the pain of losing a child by suicide because their son, Brandon James Myhre, committed suicide on May 23, 2017. He was "live-life-to-the-fullest" type of person, and he always reached out to people and wanted to help them. His parents felt like the best way to honor Brandon was to continue his mission to help others.

The death of a child by suicide is one of the worst things that can happen to parents. Understandably, they have to deal with grief along with confusion. If you or someone you know may be contemplating suicide, The Brandon James Myhre Foundation, Inc. of Boerne, Texas, can help.

Our suicide prevention nonprofit organization also focuses on suicide awareness. We plan to increase awareness by producing a documentary and sending speakers into schools, churches, and other organizations. Additionally, we want to host roundtable discussions where young people have the opportunity to talk about issues with a mediator.

Perhaps more than anything, we want troubled young people to know that there are constructive ways to overcome all types of obstacles. We want to encourage them to communicate and reach out to adults if they need to talk to someone.

Your Support is Vital
The Brandon James Myhre Foundation, Inc. needs your help to make a difference in the lives of troubled young people. Your monetary donations will help fund suicide education programs, mental health counseling, and a host of awareness and prevention services. Additionally, we can always use volunteers, especially those with counseling experience.

Pay It Forward
Invest in the lives of youth and young adults by making a monetary donation to our organization. The funding you provide will be used to create a curriculum for mental health programs, cover speakers fees, and to produce educational documentaries. You can make a tax-deductible donation through our website.
