Mission and Vision

Our mission is to catalyze and instill a sustainable, community-based commitment to care coordination excellence for America’s military connected members and their families. We do so by providing innovative practice, actionable strategies, technology, resources, and expertise to communities, organizations, and individuals who are willing to improve upon their efforts to serve the needs of the nation’s all-volunteer armed forces, veterans, and their families.

AREA SERVED: Kendall, Bandera, Bexar, Kerr, Atascosa, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes,
McMullen, Medina, and Wilson Counties.

POPULATIONS SERVED: Active Duty Service Members, Retirees, Veterans, and their family members

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: TXServes San Antonio is a branch of AmericaServes, a coordinated Network of public, private, and non-profit organizations working together to serve veterans and their
families.

TXServes providers offer a range of comprehensive services, such as: * Benefits * Clothing &
Household Goods * Education * Employment * Food * Health *Housing *Individual &
Family Support Services * Legal *Money Management * Social Enrichment * Utilities
*Transportation *Spiritual Enrichment * Sports & Recreation

TXServes evaluates the unique needs of veterans and their families, and connects them to
qualified and appropriate Network Providers who will:
• Address their specific needs and goals
• Provide services for which they are eligible
• Communicate with one another to ensure solutions work

First goal, is that every service member, veteran, and their family can easily access the full range of
comprehensive services required to achieve their unique goals, and to provide a first-class service
experience to match service members’ and veterans’ first-class service to our nation.

Second goal, is that all public, private, and nonprofit organizations serving veterans and their families are
accountable to one another and embrace formalized communication, coordination, and transparency.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: TXServes welcomes veterans of all eras, eligibility, and discharge status
